About Overthinking.today

Overthinking.today is a set of free tools for the moment your mind keeps going round the same thing: a worry about what might happen, a conversation you can't stop replaying, a decision you can't make, a list that won't let you sleep. Each tool takes a few minutes, gives you something to keep or print, and works without an account.

The tools are built on methods described by the NHS and in published research: writing worries down, sorting them with a worry tree, setting a worry time, looking at a situation from outside. Each page lists its sources. Read how we choose and check them in our editorial policy.

What it is not

It is self-help, not therapy, and it does not diagnose anything. It is not a crisis service. If thoughts feel unwanted and push you to check or seek reassurance, if you feel low most of the time, or if you are thinking about harming yourself, please talk to a professional; every tool page lists free helplines.

Your privacy

What you type stays in your browser. We count visits and a few named actions without cookies, never what you wrote. Details are in the privacy policy.

Who makes it

Overthinking.today is made by a small independent team that also builds calm, private tools for panic, sleep and habits, and a companion mobile app that is still in development.
